TASKS AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PRELIMINARY HEARING OF A CASE BY THE COURT OF APPEAL IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS OF UKRAINE

In the article, for the first time in literature on criminal procedure, the tasks and
significance of a procedural stage of the preliminary hearing of a case by the Court of
Appeal are determined. Its significance for the tasks of appeal’s procedure, as well as for
the general tasks of criminal proceedings fixed in Article 2 of the Criminal Procedural
Code of Ukraine is elucidated.
