THE JURY COURT COMPOSITION IN THE RIGHT-BANK UKRAINE UNDER THE 1864 COURT STATUTES

In the article the stages of the jury court formation under the 1864 Court Statutes are
highlighted. The difference between the jury court composition in the district and
province towns is defined. The results of the research concerning the jury distribution
depending on the property, age, education qualifications and faith are presented.
