The article is dedicated to the issue of criminal and legal analysis of the structural and
qualitative sign of the criminal association’s stability. Its modern understanding as the
counteraction to some internal and external threats is clarified. The author paid special
attention to the study of the role and significance of the subject of such a counteraction as
the key figure who provides it.
