CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLES OF THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS APPLICATION IN NATIONAL LEGAL SYSTEMS

The article is devoted to the constitutional principles of the European convention on
human rights and fundamental freedoms application in national legal systems. The
correlation of the national legislation and international treaties has been analysed, as well as
the legal nature of these treaties. The ways of the Convention implementation into the
national legal systems are elucidated. The author proposes the concrete steps for the
effective fulfillment of the obligations, envisaged in this document.
