WALACHIAN LAW AND ITS EXPANSION IN THE UKRAINIAN LANDS

This article is devoted to Walachian law that was expanded and used mainly in the
Western Ukrainian lands during the XIIIth - XVIIIth centuries. The theories of this law origin
and also its bearers – “the walachs” are analysed. Peculiarities of some legal institutions of
local self-government that operated under this law, are studied.
