THE JURY PARTICIPATION IN TRIAL UNDER THE 1864 COURT STATUTES

The main chapters of the Statute of criminal proceedings under the 1864 Court reform,
that regulated the jury participation in trial have been determined. The content of the articles
dealing with jury participation in the circuit courts proceedings is presented and analysed.
The main stages of the trial that made the jury’s partiality impossible have been elucidated.
