In the article the peculiarities of the notarial activity development in Ukraine within the
period of the Lithuanio-Ruthenian state and Reech Pospolyta have been elucidated. The
provisions of the Lithunian statutes, royal privileges, seym regulations etc., on notarial
activity are analysed.
