ON THE FORMATION OF THE UKRAINIAN STATEHOOD IN TRANSCARPATHIAN REGION (1938-1939)

The article deals with the issues of the Ukrainian statehood formation in
Transcarpathian region in 1938-1939. The process of its establishment, separation of
powers and functioning of the legislative, executive and judicial bodies, as well as of the
armed forces has been studied. The reasons of this Ukrainian state’s defeat are analysed.
