STRUCTURE AND ACTIVITY OF THE ARMENIAN COURTS IN PODILLYA (XІV–XVIII)

The author analyses preconditions of the Armenian courts’ establishment in Podillya
(XIV-XVIII cent.). Their structure and legal basis of organization, as well as the activity, are
studied. Special attention is paid to the procedure of court examination and adjudication in
the spiritual and lay Armenian courts in the Armenian communities of Podillya.
