In the article the process of Halychyna’s annexation to the Polish Kingdom has been

researched. Special attention is paid to the analysis of punishments under the Polish Kingdom

criminal law and their application in Halychyna. The author clarifies the aim and the system of

punishments applied on the Ukrainian lands within the Polish Kingdom.
