GENERAL ISSUES OF PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CRIMINAL CASE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE

Under the Constitution of Ukraine people directly participate in administration of justice
through the people’s assessors and the jury. In Ukraine two forms of people’s participation in
realization of the judicial authority are proclaimed. However, such constitutional provisions are
not properly reflected in criminal-procedural legislation. It stipulates the necessity of research on
the basis of native and foreign experience of legal nature, procedure of organization and activity
of courts with the participation of people’s representatives.
