PROTECTION OF THE RIGHT OF THE CHILD BY CRIMINAL AND LEGAL MEANS

Protection of the right of the child is an important task of Ukrainian state. In the article the
author investigates specific, more humane conditions of juveniles criminal liability (as compared
with adult criminals) and punishment of the under-aged. The norms of the Criminal Code of
Ukraine, which guarantee intensive criminal and legal defence of child’s rights and freedoms
from criminal encroachments are analyzed.
