ON THE ISSUE OF „SAXONIAN MIRROR” CREATION – THE CODE OF GERMAN MEDIEVAL LAW

The article is devoted to the creation of „Saxonian Mirror”, the first codification of German
medieval law. This law book was considerably widespread and had influence on the medieval
and further legal practice not only in Germany, but in other countries of Central and Eastern
Europe during the XIIIth – XIXth centuries.
