The article deals with the issues of domestic legislation that regulates administrative

responsibility in the sphere of health protection. The history of the administrative and legal

regulation development in the sphere of health protection, in particular in the Russian

Empire and in the USSR, has been elucidated. Kinds, grounds and components of

administrative misconducts accomplished in the sphere of health protection, are examined.

Statistical information about the exposure, investigation and bringing the guilty persons to

responsibility for administrative offences is presented.
